Tom Rosenbauer’s Rabbit Foot Emerger fly is an updated guide-favorite with a tactical wide-gape hook and positions the cul de canard to keep it in the surface film. Subtle and low-floating, it’s an excellent choice for picky fish. The tan version works for eastern and western March Brown, Hendrickson, Light Cahill, Gray Fox, and other tan-colored mayflies. PMD/Sulphur version is ideal for the many species of pale evening duns or pale wateries. The olive version is a handy choice for the emerger stage to imitate small, olive-colored mayflies. Designed by legendary angler and Orvis’s Chief Fly Fishing Enthusiast Tom Rosenbauer.
