The Tackle Shop in Ennis, Montana, was honored to be recognized as the 2017 Orvis Outfitter of the Year. We believe all fly fishing should start with a healthy dose of fun. We feel there are no bad days with a fly rod in hand. We love the Madison River, and aspire to show others its grandeur.

Our fly shop sits just a long cast away from the Madison River, near Yellowstone National Park. There are more Blue Ribbon Rivers within an hour’s drive of Ennis, than anywhere in the world. On the Madison or any other Montana water, we thrive on educational, fun, fly fishing experiences with fun, mature guides. Float, wade, or walk, our guides connect every guest with unforgettable experiences in breathtaking settings.

We love Montana and want to share this great landscape with others. Our fly shop, the oldest in Montana, has helped four generations of anglers be more successful. Our location in Ennis provides the perfect base camp to hit all the famed rivers of Southwest Montana, including the Madison, Yellowstone, Big Hole, Beaverhead, Jefferson, Ruby, and Yellowstone National Park.
