Nostalgia meets performance in this 7’ 3WT fly-fishing rod that nods to the original Wes Jordan Superfine® Bamboo rods of the early 1970s. This small-batch production by Orvis master rod builder Shawn Brillon combines a new taper with traditional materials. The result is a rod that loads from tip to butt while turning over smooth and precise casts. The ability to generate more line speed while feeling every bit of the bamboo flex in a beautiful, handcrafted rod is something a select few anglers will get to experience and appreciate.
