Description

In 1952, John M. Olin took acres of farmland joined by timber and turned it into a wildlife oasis. He created an ideal place to raise and train the best Labradors that ever flushed a pheasant or retrieved a duck. He called it NILO, which comprises more than 650 acres dedicated to unsurpassed hunting, sport shooting, and gun dogs.

Game birds are the core of hunting at NILO. Hunters have a variety of birds to pursue through various hunting packages. Ringneck and chukar hunting are done in properly managed fields behind close-quartering labs, springers, and pointers, promising the challenge and excitement of unannounced flushes. The ducks include flighted mallards presented to shooters located in blinds, hidden by natural cover, and designed to ensure the safety of hunters, guides, and dogs.

As one of the finest shooting facilities in the United States, NILO invites clays shooters, from novice to experienced, to try a variety of target games and competitions. Along with the traditional trap and skeet, NILO also offers sporting clays, 5-stand, a 40-foot tower, and riverside skeet. For those looking to step up their game, NILO also offers shooting lessons on a per-hour basis.

You can book hunts for single or multiple days or customize a hunting or shooting program that accommodates your group. Share camaraderie and marvel at the work of superior gun dogs. Hunts and shooting sports are open to the public with prior reservations. The clubhouse and pavilion are suitable for corporate events and meetings.
