This rare distinction reflects an unwavering commitment to professional guide standards, exceptional sporting experiences, and meticulous hospitality.

Owned by Sofia and Tony Brookfield, the lodge reflects a vision that blends refined hospitality with Montana’s rugged beauty. Conservation lies at the heart of that vision. Tony serves on the National Board of Trustees for Trout Unlimited and is the former Chairman of the Board for California Trout. His leadership in coldwater conservation, habitat restoration, and fisheries stewardship underscores the lodge’s deep and ongoing commitment to protecting the rivers and landscapes that define the sporting life.

Lodge Manager Zac Hearon brings 19 years of guiding and lodge management experience. An Afghanistan veteran, Zac has guided both big game and upland bird, as well as the majority of Montana’s storied rivers. His depth of knowledge, steady leadership, and passion for the outdoors shape every guest experience at Eagle Nest Lodge. He takes great pride in welcoming new clients and building lasting relationships with sportsmen and women from around the world.
