Description

Angler’s have a name for late summer, it’s hopper season. Anyone who has tromped through a field on the way to a river and pushed a wall of grasshoppers in front of them knows the thrill of throwing one of these patterns to hungry and aggressive fish. This fly takes the standard hopper pattern and makes it just a little bit better; a foam body for all-day flotation, the deer hair wing-case stands tall, providing the unmistakable grasshopper profile, rubber legs for action, and an orange post for high visibility.
