San Jose Lodge optimizes fishing efficiency across over 12 miles of the Rio Grande by limiting rods and strategically rotating spots to rest fish and target high concentrations. Access is swift via a well-maintained road network, allowing for short drives from the lodge to the river.

Our fishing program operates on a split-day beat rotation, with morning and evening sessions separated by a relaxed mid-day break for lunch and rest. Our guides specialize in the river’s narrow, shallow sections, where precise techniques are essential for success.

Our service is very detail-oriented and focused on you and your needs. With only four rods in the river at a time, we are always concentrated on you and can create a genuine atmosphere conducive of a comfort that your typical commercial lodge cannot offer.
