“I was born and raised in the Globe area of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the river was, literally, my front yard, and the streams and creeks of Pisgah National Forest became my backyard. My grandfather would take me on his adventures and we would spend countless days fishing miles of untouched trout waters! This is where I learned the simple pleasures of how to find huckleberries and drink spring water through moss…and somewhere along the way grandpa taught me how to entice a trout into eating a chicken feather! From those days until today I have chased what lies beyond ‘the next bend in the creek.’ That passion for fly fishing has sustained me with increasing vigor over the past 36 years of fly fishing, 18 of which I spent professional guiding in the Southern Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina and East Tennessee. Whether drifting down one of the many world—class tailwater fisheries or chasing brook trout on a wild freestone creek, I have the knowledge, expertise, and equipment to make your adventure a reality.

After speaking personally with each guest, our professional guides personalize each trip based on experience levels, expectations, current water conditions, weather, and season to ensure not only the perfect fishing experience but to create memories that will last a lifetime.
