Description

Go fly fishing in North Carolina and enjoy the expertise of the Orvis—endorsed guides at E.J. Stern. Our goal is to provide our clients with the best fly fishing experience. We pursue a variety of freshwater and anadromous species. Our clients can choose between floating and wading options on our trips. All skill levels and ages are welcome.

Locally we fish the Neuse, Tar, Eno, Haw, and Cape Fear Rivers. Great spring white bass and shad fishing. Summer provides excellent river largemouth bass fishing on topwater.

We provide float trips for trout on the Smith River tailwater and smallmouth bass trips on the Staunton and Dan Rivers.
