Dunton Hot Springs and River Camp sit in the remote West Dolores Valley just across the mountain from Telluride, Colorado. Situated along 9 miles of private water on the West Fork of the Dolores River, Dunton offers some of the finest small stream trout fishing in the Southwest. Managed as a wild trout fishery, Dunton does not stock any fish into this all natural river. The Dolores River drainage is one of the finest in the state. You’ll find no crowds here and can enjoy miles of some of the least pressured small stream fishing in the state. Holding Brown, Brook, Rainbow, and Native Cutthroat trout, the West Dolores offers an easy chance to catch the elusive Super Slam (4 species in one day), and full day trips are run with this achievement in mind.
